Wanted an Agile Project Manager – Oil & Gas Upstream Focus

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a project based in Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in upstream Oil & Gas operations, combined with expertise in Agile methodologies and petroleum-related digital solutions.

Key Areas of Work

• Lead petroleum and corporate application projects (HR, eServices, general apps) using Agile and/or Waterfall approaches.  
• Oversee the implementation and optimization of petroleum tools (surface and subsurface).  
• Manage cross-functional teams, mitigate risks, drive change, and engage effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Preferred Qualifications 

• 8–12 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry with a solid background in project/program management.  
• Proficient in petroleum and corporate applications, including ServiceNow and Microsoft Office 365.  
• Experienced in Agile and Waterfall methodologies with relevant certifications (PMP or Prince2).  
• Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.  
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.  

Language Skills: English (mandatory), Arabic (highly preferred).  

Location: Qatar (Onsite)  

Role Type: Full-time, Contract-based (1 year – extendable)
