Zar Industrial and Research Development Group is currently composed of Zar Macaron Co., Zar Flour Co., Nousin Saz Co., Zar Semolina Co., Zar Tarabar Nationwide Transportation Co., Zar Center of Applied Science and Technology, and Zarnam Center of Knowledge-based Research. Zar industrial and Research Development Group is the largest producer of semolina flour and different types of pasta with semolina on a national scale. Zar Flour Co. was established in 1993 and was launched in operation in 1998.
This was the maiden step towards the birth and emergence of one of the largest, paramount industrial groups in the filed of wheat-based food industries. In line with the policies of the group's manager, invariably underscoring the observation of consumers' rights through producing the highest-quality products, in 2002 and for the first time in the country, foundation of a flour production line was programmed. In a matter of less than a year, and through domestic experts' endeavors, the line was officially launched in Zar Industrial and Research Development Group.
